  • Help – liberty electric power cord stopped

    anyone familiar where the fuses / relays for the power cord are located?

    Miine just stopped out of the blue.

    not sure which fuse it would be, but it’s in your house fuses. Liberty gave a list of fuse numbers and there action with each coach, otherwise call Troy, he’ll know what fuse it is. Or you could use a test light and test all your fuses. When I did that recently when my bay lights were not working, I found 3 that were blown.

    Check fuse #82.

    That fuse will pop if the switch is not returned to the middle position immediately after the cord has reached full extention or full retraction.

    Check driver side 2nd bay, fuse should be 15amp, wire number 82…

    yep. It was #82. New fuse – all good.

    I did not receive the book with the fuse layout when I purchased my bus. I just got off the phone with another 2000 liberty owner who is sending a digital copy to me. Thanks again for the responses!!

    I replaced my fuse with a breaker fuse that resets if it was to trip. You can get them at any auto parts store, saves having to climb in the bay to replace the fuse.
