I briefly ran the bathroom heat( toe kick) and thought it is time to test the other heaters.

I do not get a color change on the 110v heat like I do when turning on 12v heat or 12v water heater.

The breaker was “off” but still do not seem to get power.?

Any suggestion on where to start checking.

Will post a question about smx control for wabasto heat in another thread.

    Thanks

if you have SMX controls, you have to double tap the heat button, then your kick heaters that are controlled by the SMX will work with the thermostat. You do have to have the 110 heat button on.

    Moved

I have read other post that say “push SMX heat control twice” for Webasto heat, the Heat light “blinks slowly” when pushed twice.

is that the normal indicator for webasto heat?

    Thanks

On my 07 when you tap the heat button on any of the SMX controls

twice that will turn on both Webasto heat exchangers and the 120 volt toe kick heaters.

What controls which heat source comes on is determined by the Marathon buttons in the bath room behind my mirrors.

For Webasto heat push the 12 volt heat button, to get the toe kick heaters on push the 120 volt heat button, if you need all of them turn on both buttons.

thanks for the replies. I discovered the “switch” was working. but did not change color( turn red) like others.

Is there a bulb to replace ? for the switch lights.

If the switch doesn’t turn red Jim it may not be functioning at the Node Relay for that circuit. Best to call Marathon.

Also if you still don’t get heat from the 110 volt heat exchangers, there is a small reset button on each toe kick heater that you can push with a screw driver or pencil. (Like a safety high temp thermostat.)

    I thought I replied,

The switch is working ,but the color change is only visible in the dark room.

is there a replaceable “bulb” Diode? or ?

    Thanks

I think you may have to replace the whole pad Jimmy, not sure.

Thanks for the replies. I am getting 110v and 12v heat from all cruise airs,salon/galley/bedroom.

But on the salon and galley heat coming from toe kick area, but the fan is running blowing out the A/c ducts( cool, not heated air)?

the fan is not blowing on the bedroom unit.

    Is this normal?
