Headlight parts question
Front end head-light parts question on XL and XLII.
2005 XLII was the last year of the square head-light with a wrap around amber turn signal, with stainless steel edge moulding.
Would some one know if the headlight parts above are same going back 1998-1999 XL ?
Tried using the Prevost parts site but info ends at 2000.

no–I tried them.. just a little differance in radius. I have a 98 XLe and tried the newer light assembly. I passed one on to JON.. because it wouldn’t fit. Bob

If you need whole assembly prepare for sticker shock. If you just need clips or something like that might be able to help with that. Bob

under prevost parts are for a XLII they say will fit xl also–in my past experience–the radius was differant. Actual hands on. I wish I would of had new on mine instead of the used cracked ones I have now. Bob

I upgraded my lights last summer and have the headlight/running light lenses and stainless trim that came off.
my chassis is an 01. If anyone can use them I’ll send them to you, shipping on you.

What did you upgrade to and can you compare the differences pro or con you may have encountered ? I have been talking with Extreme about their upgrade. Did you do yours or use a vendor ? -

I had the upgrade done in Nashville while we were there for the POG Rally last October.
The upgrade kit was provided and installed by a company just North of Nashville, Busforsale.com is their website.
I would have had it done by James Stallings(Extreme Paint) but the timing worked out better in Nashville.
They done a good job and I’m satisfied with the results.
However, I needed to tweak the alignment myself in order to get the beams right as their system for alignment was a bit primitive.
I believe any upgrade will improve the OEM lights as they are just short of useless in my opinion.
