Headhunter Royflush issues
Another hurdle.
My fridge is in the bus, I wanted to test my connection from coach to the fridge to make sure its not leaking prior to putting fridge in its hole. My bus is still in winter mode since I havent had time to mess with that aspect of the coach. So I replace my water filter and push out the antifreeze and start filling up my water tank.
I prime the pump and it starts and water is flowing right away. So naturally I head inside the bus to see what’s running. Well my toilet is working with out me touching it. So I pull everything out from the sink and start my diag from there. After a few calls to friends on speed dial I start to get a better understanding for the system.
1. Check the diaphragm to make sure no debris, no issue there.
2. I check my air pressure diaphragm and its at 28, water still running.
3. Check switch timer, swap the leads, still runs. Disconnect both leads, still runs.
4. Pull power to switch, still runs.
5. Pull power to the diaphragm, toilet is still running.
6. Tested power to the switch, there is power.
This morning I called and headhunter and went over where I was at on this process. They stated they think something is off on the soleniod, I ordered a new valve and hope to install this week. I am told there should be a shut off valve prior to that solenoid also but the bus doesnt have one. I cant test any other part of the system as soon as the pump comes on it starts pushing water through the 1″ direct feed toilet line.
I will update how everything works when I get new parts installed.
