Happy Camper !! New TV’s Installed
Well today I have just finished a big much wanted project.
The old blurry Plasma TV’s are gone and two new 46″ Samsung Smart TV’s are installed and I am using them with my DTV remotes both in the RF mode and they work perfectly… Only drawback is that I have to turn the system on with the Crestron remote for the sound which doesn’t bother me for now as when we get to Jeff’s hopefully in August he will switch us over to the ipad mini’s and then everything will work together as it should.
The 46″ Samsungs are a perfect fit for our bus and so much more vibrant and clear… just sorry I waited so long to get up the courage to tackle it. The bedroom changeout took about 2 hours and the living room took longer … about 5 hours…. of course we are using the existing cables for now…. so that made it a lot faster…. even so I can’t tell you the difference it made.
For those of you who don’t know.. we were having some major Crestron problems with our bedroom TV but now it all works perfectly using the Crestron for the Bose only.
I will take a couple of pictures and post them later…
