H3 STORAGE DOOR CRACKS
Before I dispatch my coach to my local body shop, what has been the best way to repair this weakness in the storage door cladding. My concern is that I’ll repair it and have the crack return the next time I close the door.

Almost every H3 I have seen has cracks on the bay doors. Has Prevost given any indication of the possibility there is a permanent fix?

When we purchased our H3 less than 60 days ago, we were told Prevost uses plastic, as opposed to fiberglass, for those pieces as they consider them expendable due to bus drivers often damaging them by driving too close to curbs, etc.
Was told the best way to prevent the cracking is to not allow the bay door to free-fall and close, but to only close it by holding it all the way down, gently closing it. Time will tell…

Most of us with H3’s have the cracks, replacing the panel seems to be the only solution. I wish there was an alternative as well.
