any H owners with lumpy bumper covers care to share how you have solved the problem?

How about a picture Larry, not clear on what your asking.

I will try to post a pix Tom but, the top horizontal surface of the bumper cover gets WAVEY when exposed to heat.

Larry, Marathon ! Oregon fixed the problem on top of the bumper,by adding 3 screws, not very profesional, seems like old problem…n-o real fix in place!

Exactly, waving in the middle, it was late disclosure at the time of coach purchase / nothing I can do at the time, it was “fixed” at Coburg prior, 3 screws into the bumper, right under the engine cover. As I was told,It apears that this defect is well known for H3?

I havent seen that before. I will go down and check my bumper but it appears the design has changed on mine. I Don’t think it has the step down toward the rear.

when I talked with Marathon, I was told that was their fix. I don’t care for the look of that fix and have considered a painted/ polished strip of stainless to keep the puckers down between screws.
Any other ideas out there? Onextream (a PC sponsor ) has a fiberglass replacement ,another option. -
Dorel, did a Marathon tech install the screws in your bumper cover or, was it their suggestion and you did the install?
I believe you are correct, it is an on going problem, I have seen the issue on an ’09 bus so it spans 9 years at least. Judging by the lack of response, seems it is not a problem for PC members however. -
Larry, I purchased the coach from a dealer in Bend, Oregon, he had it serviced at Coburg early this spring before listing for sale. I asked the dealer why the screws in the bumper, was given the explanation in my other thread. Here is a paste from the service report. I did not “touched” the bumper, that is how i got it, 3 screws in the midle of it to hold the waviness down / minimum.

Tom , that was my comment, must not be a big problem as few PC members have resposed to my original post.
