  • H3 body panels

Posted by Larry on January 31, 2021 at 4:29 pm

The body panel just behind the left steer wheel and fwd of bay door is a bit loose. Can’t see how the panel is fastened to the framework of the bus.
I’m not able to start disassembly of the bus right now but, would like some idea of what to expect.

    Any ideas?

It is bonded to the frame. Prevost likely has very good information on the bonding process and the materials to use in the service manual for the coach.

Go to the Prevost Car web site and pull up the service manual for an H3. It likely details the process for securing panels.

If I were to ask anyone at Prevost it would be Mike Miguel at the Nashville service center.

If your seeing the “fender” itself loose ,it is held by bolts and tabs that can be tight but the clearances will let the fender rattle.a few strategic shims will stop the rattles.

Larry, how did you find the bolts and tabs. I have the same problem with the left front fender panel. Geo

Cory, I had the same problem, get your flashlight and look between the fender liner and the fender, the right fender has the same mounts and are easy to see and give you a visual for what you are looking for on the left.
