H3 45 Trim moving
I have a piece of trim/moulding that is moving over a period of a year. It has moved forward enough that the slide hit it when going back in and broke a piece off. I have tried moving it back with no luck.
Has anyone had any experience with this piece? It snaps on a channel, but feels like if I try to pry it off, it will break.
This piece goes between the front slide and the rear slide.

Yes, use a block of wood and tap it back in place. Then check every other piece on the coach like it and reset them before you break another. That seems to be a common problem on the H with slides*. I’m thinking about a drop of super glue somewhere out of sight. I don’t think it will take much to stop the movement.
*Non-factory slides!

Not good results so far. The slide out had already knocked a piece out when it closed. So, I did not have a good straight edge to tap with a piece of wood. When I tried the block of wood, it cracked it. Seems very hard to move, yet it moves on it’s own!
I’m trying to find a replacement piece now, Prevost doesn’t have any in stock.
I will try to glue the pieces together to get me by, be carefull if anyone tries this!!

I caught mine before they got damaged so they moved very easily back into place with light tapping. Looks like your strip is/was under stress from the damage.
You may be able to get a new piece at Donnie Meyers who may have an OEM Prevost part in stock, cut it to fit and paint if for you. If that doesn’t work for you, try IBP Industries.
