I bought a Guest 2620A about a year and a half ago. It replaced the old Magnatek in my Liberty. I could not be happier. Whenever the bus is in storage, the charger is flipped on. I have not had dead or weak batteries since. I know that ideally if the coach is fully shut down, and everything is functioning correctly, that theoretically there should be no loads and no discharge. However, I think there are some small loads that remain, and I might inadvertantly leave the chassis switch or some other device on. My opinion is why take the chance of ruining your day, or maybe even your batteries. These modern chargers seem to take very good care of the batteries. Never a problem here.

When I bought mine, I got it from Amazon, and I hooked it up using the instructions on POG.

The Guest is the way to go Granvil, I have installed several of them and they work well. I got mine from Aircraft Spruce.
