Grundfos 110v Pump
Good Day All,
We are new members and are proud owners of a 2007 Marathon H3. Our Grundfos pump is acting up. It will appear to start up great when the power is put to it ………but will switch off after about 15 secs. Tried running a tap and pressure seems great then it switchs off. I removed the end black cap and used a screwdriver to turn the impellers ……all seemed ok.
i am not sure how old the pump is. My understanding is that these pumps are not repairable. But if anybody has any ideas I would be great full . Fortunately we do have the backup 12v pump which is working great.

Yes, the pump is not repairable. We just changed ours out in June. Ours would run and then shut off, when no water was called for and no leak present. Leon at Marathon leaned towards the pressure switch.
I ordered a new one off Amazon for something like $400-500. Cheap compared to other 110v pumps other converters use. I would order one and have it installed. It’s a pretty easy install if you do it yourself. We were at Marathon Texas and I just asked them to do it. Took the guy less than 30 min. to replace ours.
I much prefer the 110v pump vs the 12v. Marathon with newer coaches is using 2 12v pumps. Not what I would want. The 12v make way too much noise.

Walrus pumps out of Texas makes the TS 800, if memory serves me. We replaced ours grundfos Jetpaq in ourMarathon H before we sold it in 2009. Ran great, $320 including shipping back then. Way quieter than a Grunfos. And the connections match perfectly how Marathon plumbed the GrundfosAll these pumps are, residential booster pumps. Anytime looking at for sale coaches and you spot a bright medium blue water pump, that’s a Walrus brand. I googled that phrase, “residential booster pump” and found Walrus. Heck, the president of the company even took our order!

Phii-Rhea….what a nice surprise seeing your post. Getting involved with the PC web site will give you lots of info on how that new Marathon works.
Based on my experience about that pump, replace it.
