I had booked here in February for 10 days. It seemed to be a good fit for our long rig and communication with the park was prompt and in great detail.
Well, we are here now and, wow, this is a really great RV park for when you should be traveling through this area of Colorado.
The owner purchased this property 2 years ago, when it was a run-down trailer park. He turned it into an RV park with FHU, 100 and 50 amps services and the sites are huge and nicely landscaped. The owner and his wife and son and dogs live on the property. He told us it is about 30 acres and there are trails to walk or bike starting right here.
We are in a pull-through which is 120 feet long. Plenty enough for our 70 feet of bus and trailer and enough space to park the car, too. The driveway is about 15 feet wide and there is plenty of “personal space” for lounging etc. – I would guess th overall width of the sites is about 30 feet and the layout is such, that there is plenty of space for everyone.
There is a big lake “on the other side of the road” – It is actually about 5 miles away off of a paved road, which starts right where this RV park is located.
There are plenty of things to do in this area and we will not get bored. We also have some time to unwind and relax.
I will add this to the map. Meantime, use the link to their website to check the place out.
Cheers,
Ronald
