Yes, there’s other threads relating to mobile wireless hot spots, but the conversation is about to change from 4G to 5G. This video contains one of the better explanations I’ve seen on this new technology and I have no doubt it has the capability of changing the way we connect online while on the bus and, depending on where you live, at home.

Nope. As stated in the video, the first devices to utilize 5G will be mobile hot spots and it’s expected to make it onto the chips that power phones next year. This is most likely why, at its latest conference, Apple didn’t announce new hardware.
