  • Glass question>>>

Posted by Tom on May 12, 2017 at 12:16 pm

I’ve got a couple of windows that apparently have failing seals. My entry door and the big glass just aft of the door….UUUGGG!!!!

Someone mentioned on the forum a company who can repair these things…hopefully to come out better than buying new ones from Prevost. Seems like they were located in Florida….

Anyone give me some insight as to experience and exactly who that outfit is in Florida? Thanks…ty

Suncoast in FL does it, as noted in the above link. You might also check with rvfogdr.com in Searcy, AR. We have had them repair windows in our previous plastic coach and our failed cockpit & door windows in our current bus. They were good to work with, and got us in & out when they said they would. Also a bit cheaper than Suncoast. You do need to stay in place for 24 hrs to let the sealant cure, but they have full hook ups available, so that was not a problem for us. They may have a problem handling the trapezoidal glass behind your door. That’s a pretty big chunk of glass!!

Suncoast only does flat glass. I have experience with them and the only way I would ever do anything again would be if I could take the glass to them. Would not allow them to remove or replace anything.
