    Paul,

Run it hard, long and often, that’s what they like. I’ve never seen a Motorhome conversion with 20K hours on the gen. Mine is an 01 and barely 2,600 hrs.

I visited friends on Lake Texoma north of Dallas, TX. My friend assured me the power was good and I could connect to a 50 amp power pole. You know that little voice that tells you about something like….This is not passing the smell test ?

I decided to pass on the free plug in running our gen for 73 hours straight, 3 A/C daytime and 2 A/C night.

Our 20 KW never missed a beat. When thinking this over I remembered the entertainer buses with reported 10-15 K hours. Our gen has hit the amazing time of 691 hours now.

I have a long way the catch up.

Little over 200 hours on 15kw kubota. Yes 200 hours on a original 1991 conversion. Had 21 hours on meter when I bought the bus over 3 years ago. Original owner never used. Just drove bus back and forth to vegas and stayed in hotel. When he got to old, had a driver drive he and his wife out. Hasn’t seemed to hurt it just sitting, Thank goodness.
