    Generator shut down malfunction

    When I stop the generator from the drivers area, it shuts down until it almost stops completely. Then the starter engages making a gear-to-gear sound. It keeps repeating this scenario until I turn off the remote start switch on the generator.

    The only thing I have noticed is the light in the “start gen” switch flickers in sync with the engagement of the starter.

    Any ideas?

    Switch at Generator is in auto? Inverter setting on gen start is set to??

    Gen switch was set for remote start and inverter is set for auto start.
