Generator removal from a Royale
My generator is on a slide roll out with generator mounted front to rear.
I have pulled it out to a stop on the slide but cant find what the stop that is preventing it to come completely out of the bus.
Wish to take out of bay. Suggestions welcome.

Look for stops on the slide rails George.

I have looked at rails and can’t find anything I can remove. Guess I will have to crawl into bay and look from behind

I feel your pain. Can’t get to the back of my Wrico to access the regulator. They say that’s what’s my problem is as it drops power after running for 20 or 30 minutes. Did notice bolts in top of rail beside Kubota motor and that might be your deal also. Think those bolts stop rollers from coming out to far.

At least you have a slide! My Wrico was installed with the same orientation as yours and in a fixed location. You could not even reach the oil fill cap! Had the same issue with the generator side but happened to be in OR. Wrico would not remove or install the genset so I had a local service center use a folk lift to pull it out, put it in my van and transported it to Wrico. They had a fork lift to remove it from the van (but not from my coach), did the repairs and returned it to the van. Worked great for years after that.

On mine, called Wrico and talked to some uppity tech that said he couldn’t tell me the regulator needed until after i pulled and looked at it upfront. Have original papers that went to Converter that detailed Motor/Kubota and 15 KW size. Trying to find someone to pull and confirm.

Hopefully the owner, Dick Wright, is still there. If so, call and ask to speak to Dick. He knows his shit and he will get you the answers you need.
