Generator problem
Hello I have Martin diesel generator in my 90 Marathon, generator now runs but when I release the starter switch it dies, does anybody have a schematic of the relays in the second bay that command the generator? thanks Hugo

I have a diagram for the Martin installation in my 94 Angola. Likely very similar but can’t get to it until Saturday.

It looks like your shutdown circuit is acting up. When you release the starter, the oil pressure and temp shutdown sensors become active. I’d check the wiring to these sensors. You can also bridge the oil pressure switch with a temporary wire and see if that will keep the generator running.
