Generator overheating
We left out on a trip this morning and it was overcast and raining. We drove for 2 hours and the generator shut down (overheated). After looking things over I found the circuit breaker for the fan was tripped on the side of generator control box. I reset the breaker and started he generator. The fan came on and ran for three hours and shut off again. The fan motor was just replaced a couple weeks ago and ran 8 hrs without issues at that time. The generator is a power tech 20 kw with a mid mount radiator in the rear most bay.
Any suggestions on insight where to go next would be welcomed….Jim -

circuit breakers don’t last forever ?
Last summer the air conditioner cb failed at our sticks & bricks. Changed it and no problems since. -
