JON: That’s negative thinking! I’ve spread my depreciation over 15 years with payments of only $18,000/mo and, at the end, I probably have about $200,000 equity in my 15 year old coach! Let’s see: $18,000 x 15 x 12 = $3,240,000 – $200,000…..OH JUST FORGET IT…THIS IS DEPRESSING ME

What always inspires my comments about depreciation is so many owners make comments about the cost of fuel or maintenance or repairs (or insurance like me) and choose to ignore our single greatest cost of ownership is almost always depreciation.
Depreciation is probably the greatest cost of living. We experience it in cars, boats, appliances, electronics, clothes, etc, but we just never hear anyone doing more than just making a casual remark about its existence.
We can also talk about the loss of earnings on capital for the money we have spent on our coaches but that might be pushing the complaining a little too far.

Well, a lot of people and myself are quite thankful that there are people out there that can afford to, and are willing to lose the kind of money one does on a new coach. Without them there are a lot of people, myself included that would never get to enjoy owning one of these machines.

I enthusiastically second what Kevin said. Thank you Dean Sanders from the bottoms of our hearts.
