Generator and Aqua hot sucking air on fuel supply
Anyone familiar with fuel connections for generator and aqua hot on the fuel tank?
I have to pull a grill and refrigerator to access the fuel tank connections.
My generator and aqua hot are both failing to pull fuel. Both will run if I connect a supply line into a plastic container of diesel.
Assuming there is some common connection to fuel tank.
Anyone been there and have insight as to what I should look for?

George you do have more than a 1/4 tank fuel on board?
Most won’t pull fuel after 1/4 for safety so you don’t run out?
Always check the low fruit first.

The tank access gives very little access.
I have determined that generator and aqua hot feed off a common tank outlet with a tee to each. The return line from aqua hot I have determined it location on main tank. trying to determine generator return location. The hosed are like spaghetti on top of the twp tanks. Surprisingly the generator supply goes toward the rear of coach and the generator is located in the next bay forward of the fuel tanks.
Anyone got info on how the lines are routed in the fuel compartment.
Must of had a trunk monkey to crawl in small space and connect the hoses.

Keep in mind that George’s questions are specific to a Royale. The systems he asks about are converter installed and what one converter did may not be what Royale has done.

Ck. the suction tube coming out of the top of the tank, sometime they brake off.
You can replace with a plastic tube. “done that”

It could be you just lost prime in the fuel lines. That was the case with my Webasto after I bought the coach. I simply put a small fuel pump in line temporarily to reprime. Has worked since then (8 years).
If the fuel pump cannot pull diesel out of the tank you either have a blockage or break in the line. Simple test.
PS: Your generator most likely has a fuel pump already. Just disconnect output line and put 12V on the pump and see if you can get fuel to flow.

The biggest issue with a shared fuel dip tube is if line A has an air leak (loose fitting, etc) line B will draw air thru that leak as well as line A. Check for loose fittings, loose clamps, etc.

Found generator fuel line where it turned a 90 degree on side of generator was deteriorated and was allowing it to suck air.
The way I found it was to insert air nozzle in end of line and blow air. It started bleeding in the 90 degree bend.
