  • gen. runs but will not make but 15.6 volts

    i have a 2001 vantare h345. the gen. cranks and runs but will only put out 15.6 volts. when it first starts the green ljte on tnverter panel for ac in 2 goes green for second then goes out and no ac voltage. any ideas. power tech 17.5 thanks randy

    I would suspect the voltage regulator, especially if it has never been updated to the electronic solid state version.

    The regulator is located inside the control box mounted to the generator, on the bottom right.

    Also, check the voltage inside the box on the back of the breaker itself to see what it is putting out there, If you are reading voltage at the Inverters.

    Check voltage regulator my guess tooooo!!!!!!!
