The Prevost maintenance schedule calls for all grease fittings to get lubed every 6200 miles (about 100 KM)

Historically owners have opted to do their maintenance annually and that means if they average more than that number of miles per year the coach is not getting the needed maintenance.

If someone other than yourself is doing your maintenance you have every right to expect it to be done properly, regardless of if you watch them do it or not. If you question whether it was done, it is a legitimate question and if you get a poor reaction from the people doing the work, it is the wrong place to take your coach.

Just to use that grease fitting as an example, if it is not greased the arm holding the roller will be able to tip sideways. That pushes the belt sideways. The net result is the belt starts getting chewed up, and it can or will wrap around the gear box shaft, possibly damaging the seal, and once the belt has failed the coach will over heat.

So the cost of a shot of grease is the cost of repairing or replacing the arm or its bushings, repairing or replacing the gear box, replacing the fan belt, and if you have no spare getting towed.

That makes asking questions pretty important. It also make proper maintenance pretty important.
