This question is for Marathon owners only because of Techlink.
What LED bulbs did you go with for the ceiling lights that are dimmable?
I used these on my 02 and they worked fine.

I will go by bus today or tomorrow and check. Ours work good and have not had any issues.

Using the same as JD post above.
Expensive, recommended by Marathon, dimmable. compatable with techlink and S-2 or S-3 boxes….. no issues.

Ouch ..$17 each? I think I’ll stick with my halogens.

Tom I also use the same lights as Jd showed, but I didn’t pay Marathon prices, I ordered them off amazon, I think for about $14 each. Expensive but gets rid of a bunch of heat.

One thing that might make a difference in Marathon buses.
A change was made at Prevost introducing the MultiPlex electric system appox late 2006.
Most all relays are gone replaced by ECM’s mounted bank style in drivers bay.
I have it my coach # 1075…..Buddy has it in coach # 1080. I mentioned the S-2 and S-3 control boxes now doing most switching and compatable system with these expensive G-4 LED bulbs.
I’am sure their are cheaper LED’s around.

Ahh good, the word “tech” gives me attitude for which I know no prescription.

I replaced all lights to LED in the 1997 Marathon. This is an older system and had some trouble in the beginning.
Finally figured out that the load was too low and made the lights flicker. Resolved the issue by leaving one halogen per group of lights. All works great now!
Bulbs I bought are $ 1.50 each from superbrightled.com
Note, when I did the factory tour I noticed superbrightled.som stickers on some of the workers tool boxes. Wondering if Marathon uses their products…

Have heard that one regular bulb will stop the LED bulbs in string from
flickering too. The other factor is usually the dimmer switch itself. You
need to upgrade the dimmer to LED compatible dimmer.
