    Hi Dan,

Are you aware that 2 SMX panels will not light up and 2 will when you are not under shore power or gen?

2 are running off the inverters so they stay lit.

The 4 buttons on the dash power the SMX panels but to have all 4 work you need to be under shore power or gen.

the galley fan is not on the inverter, that’s why it won’t run when dry camping

underway you need to push the 12v for webasto heat and set temp on SMX to work

SMX controls the heat and ac functions in each zone of the bus.

    This is Marathon specific.

You don’t have this in a Royal.

I’m not so sure that SMX is unique to a Marathon. I have them in my Liberty and I know coach conversions with roof airs have had some SMX controls or at least controls called SMX.

SMX was a Cruiseair control that I think was introduced in the early 90’s.

I was being specific on how the SMX operates and the steps needed in a Marathon to turn on the heat A1.
