If that pic is of the vanner in house battery bay they are for the back up computer batteries, just in case the mains go down for crestron and so fourth

If that vanner is for house batteries replace it with the 100 amp one and the two small batteries

I would look a little deeper into the use of the batteries. I don’t see a disconnect or any sign of an isolator. They might be in the electric bay, but if the batteries are to provide power to the PLCs or computer in the event of a house battery failure they do have to be isolated. As shown it shows them connected via the equalizer terminals. That suggests to me they will be discharged as the house batteries lose their charge negating their use as backup. There might be a shielded toggle switch in the electric compartment marked as being for battery back up supporting Peter’s analysis.

I think the 60 amp might be OK because there are not a lot of 12V loads on an Elegant Lady, but there is no harm in replacing it if needed with a 100 amp equalizer.

wires are just wire tied to the equalizer wires and run seperate with a toggle switch to energize that circuit..

Jeff, I’m not sure I understand what you are saying. I assume the batteries are grounded. The positive side connected to the equalizer shares that post with the full size batteries. Even if there is a toggle switch how does a dead set of full size batteries not draw down the two small batteries because there is no disconnect seen between the equalizer and the small batteries?

It is not hooked to the equalizer. I think in this picture the positve is off the emergency backup batteries and appears to be hooked to the equalizer.
