I changed the fuel shut off solenoid, and the good news is the

leaking has stopped and the intermittent generator shutting off

has stopped. We recently traveled to Pittsburg, and the

generator started early Friday morning and ran continuously

until Monday afternoon when we returned home.

Evidently, I fixed it too good, as the generator would not shut

off when the shut off was pushed. I tried the shut off at the

generator, but still kept running. Shut off the 12volt power,

disconnected the fuel pump, and the fuel solenoid, generator

still running. Finally shut down by placing plastic bag over air

intake to starve off the air. Back to the drawing board.

Any suggestions appreciated.
