Fuel Leak
Between the main and aux fuel tanks it that a rubber hose and do they ever need changing? can’t get under coach yet but there is something leaking ,it looks like under tanks, never fails got bugs out in last coach, and now start it all over again.

Im doing it now access hole is about 4 inches up rear shelf 2 foot wide 2 foot long I had to remove all my bed frame storage elect heaters and part of the wall if you want i can send you a few pictures . Not an easy job i was getting to the altnator on an 8v92 i will check all my fuel lines before i close it up.

Ins ide curb side frame rail . covered by plastic shield from bottom. Would not be accesable from top. Will terminate behind condensor coil. upper left of that area there will be a access plate to top of tank. Suggestion just pull new line in and give up on trying to remove old/ if leak is not where it terminates back to tank. Would check that first. Goes thru last bay bulkhead inside frame rail close in curb side bus. FWIW bob

Prevost can order the gasket. Mine was leaking so had them replace it when I was having a new fuel line installed (Fuel line from tank to fuel filter). To replace the fuel line they had to drop the tank so gasket repair was easy while tank was out. Not sure how hard the job would be with tank in place.

I too had a leaking gasket there. At St. Nicolas service center they had to take the tank out to replace an air conditioning line. So I don’t know how easy it would be to do the replacement with tank in place

Dumb question … how did you know it was leaking? Fuel under the coach? Or did you see it leaking somewhere else?

Here is a view of the assembly from the Prevost Parts manual.
Number 9 is the “Interior Frame”. This is what the bolts screw into.
Number 8 is the “gasket”.
If the threads in the interior frame are stripped, the frame will likely have to be repaired for the new gasket to do any good.
Just something to think about.

When I had my 2011 Liberty, I had a fuel leak that dripped on the ground or floor of the garage. It looked like it was coming from the same area as pictured here, but turned out to be a leaky tank. Prevost TN changed it out and it did not leak again. The top of the tank around the fuel line area was wet, but so were a couple of other areas. Jeff looked at it and it was not leaking from the lines, so a new tank was ordered and installed. They got it done complete in two shifts. Not bad for the amount of work required.

Dick, I did not notice any wetness anywhere, but could smell diesel vapors when filling it up. Thought it was normal. But when the tech at St. Nicolas dropped the tank he immediately identified the evidence of the leaky gasket. All I saw was oil that had accumulated dirt in the area of the gasket. I might never have diagnosed it as a problem, but simply breather vapor accumulation.

Thanks for your replies, folks. Very helpful and very thorough, as always in this community. It looks like I will be headed to Mira Loma next month.
The symptom was a small puddle of fuel left on the ground where I parked to check in to an RV park. I had just filled the tank prior to arriving at the park. I used an oil pan to catch the drips while I was in the park. After burning off some fuel on the way to the next stop, there was no more leakage. This led me to suspect the gasket. My plan is to not fill the tank completely until I get to LA.
