FUEL DISCOUNT PROGRAM DETAILS
We can now reveal the details of the Prevost Community Fuel Discount Program. Tom and I are hoping all registered Prevost Community members will take advantage of the opportunity to reduce some of the costs of operating our coaches.
We will be putting up a link like the NAPA fleet program link soon, but in the meantime here are the primary details.
The details that were here will be available behind a members only link that will be installed next to the NAPA button shortly. We identify a truck stop chain that does not want its name used by others for marketing purposes and at the request of the fuel program administrator we will only discuss their portion of the program in a section only viewed by registered members. Sorry for that, but we will respect that request.
Until the program application security safeguards are in place the link will bring you to an application that you should fill out and FAX or email to our program administrator. There will be a $25 charge for processing the application. There will be an annual fee of $25 to remain in the program. When you submit the application there will be a $25 charge applied to your credit card, and a $25 charge deducted from your checking account. Both of these will verify the program administrator has valid account numbers. One of the charges will be applied to your account as a credit which will be used as partial payment on your first fuel purchase.
The program is limited to $800 of fuel purchases per day. Your account will be assessed for purchases the day of the purchase.
The application will have all the financial details relating to the program and will always be the controlling document.

Will the card allow for automatic pump start? It’s nice to not have to go inside before AND after fueling…

The program is designed for efficiency. As time says you can swipe it, start the pump and at the end of the sale drive away.
I don’t think you will get a receipt printed at the pump so if you need one you likely have to go inside. I never bother, but I record the pump information, total cost, total gallons, pump price and pump number. I have never had a bill that was in error.

If your paying cash how do you not go inside? 10 cents off cash price. Are you being billed thru the discount card? Rick

The discount program card gives you the opportunity to start the pump, fuel up and drive away.
At the end of the day your account will have the cost of fuel purchased at the discounted price withdrawn from your checking account. I have been using the Pilot / Flying J card for a couple of years now and that is how that program works. It is easy, and I have never had a problem with any billing errors.
If you want to go into the truck stop store, no problem, but with the card it is not necessary to go beyond the fuel island.
