Front bearing problem? 2000 H3-45
first of all hello everyone and thanks for letting me join this forum. ok i have a problem there was a seal leak on the drivers side hub so we decided to replace it.. when we took it off we noticed the washer wasnt locking into place but we figured maybe its something else as we put new items back on and together we noticed it still doesnt lock.. it has about 1/4 inch to go back so washer would lock. any one have any ideas? we obtained this bus about a year ago now and we are doing maintance on it slowly. -

I’m going by memory but it looks like the hub is not all the way onto the spindle, so the inner retainer washer with the “D” is not all the way in seated on the bearing inner race. Then it looks like the locking ring with the bent over tab and the outer nut are not in place. Maybe I am looking at it all wrong.

Some of those can wear you out to get it on all the way….It isnt on like Jon said….
