From Fluctuating Gauges to Nothing
8/1/2020
I have gone from a concern with the gauges fluctuating to getting nothing, including a manual start from the gen itself. 95 degrees in Greenville and the A/C’s only run from shore or generator so not going to travel in an oven. Tammie refuses to get in it without A/C.
Last weekend I put in a new Marinco shore power receptacle. All went well with that change. I had breaker off and the 12 and 24 switched off.
I thought maybe it is the battery so I tested it and it was alright. Wanted to make sure so I took the battery to NAPA and had them test. All good with battery.
Recall in May that I had fluctuating gauges and could only manually start from the gen. Now my gauges light up as soon as I connect the battery. I flip switch inside to start, go outside to start manually and I get nothing. Go back inside and check gauges which are now not lighted.
Many direction, advice will be appreciated. If you prefer to speak with me on cell phone so that I next to coach to check things, let me know. Glad to give my cell number to get this resolved, or to get the directions for possible fixes.

All,
I hope that everyone is doing well and having a great Mother’s Day. Beautiful and cool weather here in Greenville, SC.

For the first time since February I tried to run the generator. Dead battery. Replaced with a new NAPA battery. She will not start from inside but will from starter switch on the generator. I noticed while it was running that the battery charge gauge is fluctuating between 14 and 16. I have not seen this before. Any suggestions on what to check.
Also, the pressure switch jumped to 100 and stayed there. Is there an oil pressure pump or something that I can check. I expect it needs replaced. Recommendation for this, too?
