Posted by David on March 14, 2015 at 9:57 amI just found a water leak behind the fridge, i am going to assume its for the ice maker and the door water supply line. I am going to pull out the fridge and try to locate the source of the leak, any hidden secerts?
Thanks

Are you sure its not just a blocked auto-defrost (I think that’s what it is called) channel? Warm water and some gentle prodding with a thin wire will cure it if it is. Had it on the fridge/freezer at home and was going to call out the engineer ’til someone suggested that was the probable cause.

Our Marathon has an access door from the bathroom to service the Cruiseair behind the fridge. It provides decent access to the rear of the fridge

Dave,
I have an access door under the dinette for accessing the cruiseair filter, rear of fridge and power receptacle. You can reach the back of the fridge water connection. Did I mention, unlike the Liberty guys, we don’t have to remove the fridge to clean the cruiseair filter or have access to the water line or power:) That should get some comments.

FWIW I have never had to pull the fridge to clean any of my Cruise Air filters. I’m not saying that some floor plans require that, but I’ve not had that problem.
I just recently cleaned all of mine and all were accessible by pulling a panel. No tools were required.

Our Vantare had a filter behind the refrigerator and another one in the bedroom.. had to totally dismantle a cabinet to get to the bedroom one and then 2 more filters one behind the driver’s seat and the other behind the passenger’s seat… also a pain to get to but I did them faithfully 3 times a year !!
All the ones in the Liberty are easy to get to thank goodness !!
