Fort Myers area
We have been coming to Sarasota for the last several years. We love the Sarasota area and convenient access to several nice beaches. We’re considering a change next year to Fort Myers. Though we love the Sarasota area we would like to find a place to stay with nicer rv sites than where we’ve been staying. So for those of you who have stayed in Fort Myers, do you like the area? Which beach do you go to and hows the access to and from? I’ve heard that coming back from Fort Myers Beach in the afternoon can get really backed up. Let me know what you think. For the best plce try Riverbend, Go south on I-75 to Fort meyers turn east on State road 80 exit 141 I think, go twenty miles beautiful Park, Only class A gated and the friendliest people you will find anywhere 360 sites most are owned all roads lined with mature Royal Palms, all pavement with gutters and concrete sites, great landscaping, and right on the river. Pelcian Lake – Naples
The down side Dean, is none of these sites will have things for your kids to do.

The reason there are no kids at Pelican lake is the gator man ate them all Shoooot em, Shoooot em!

The Great Outdoors in Titusville FL is a nice place to visit. We are only 12 miles from Cocoa Beach and 8 mile from Kennedy Space Center. Lots of things to do and places to go and no tracfic jams.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are still trying to figure out which beach to go to in Fort Myers. Looks like we will head down there next week and check it out.
