We belong to fmca since it’s required as part of membership to Marathon Coach Club. I believe PC full program is better.

I was a member of FMCA since 1990 and left in 2015. As much as I hated to do it, I found FMCA had shrunk, was less about our type of coach, and did not offer any apparent advantages for continuing the membership.

The Prevost Community Loves card is a 10% discount and I think a $250 Fee, not sure about the fee.
The GoodSams card is 7% at FlyingJ/Pilot and is free.
I use both with no problem.

Only benefits I have seen that apply to us are, discounts at some Campgrounds, and the Michellin Tire account, but now we have that through PC.
-
Remember, the PC Loves discount is off the cash price, not retail.
As to FMCA, save your money.

We are members of FMCA and have been since the mid-80’s , FMCA # 116100. Only been to one regional rally and it was fun, total of 3 Prevost there.
Current reason for being a member is they include Travel Assist as part of the annual dues now. The service will transport you, spouse, grandkids, pet, and coach back home if you are hit with a medical “issue” while on the road. I never plan to use that beneift but buying outside FMCA will cost me more than the FMCA annual dues.
10% discount at some nice RV parks also helps a little.

Ok , How does one get a PC Loves Card ? Or does it come in the Mail with the PC Package After You pay Your Dues Here ? Mine is lost in the Mail !
Well , After reading for a while I stumbled on a thread where I found My answer. ( As Usual ) Hit The RED PC Members Discount Button !

We originally joined FMCA for the tire program…all the PC benefits combined are better….we continue FMCA because we like the magazine.

Yes, you’ll need FMCA to use tire program. I’ve been a member over 15 years have attended several rallies which were close to our home.
Very reasonable fees for events. Many vendors there with there goods on display. At one recently Blue OX had a signup sheet first come first serve to inspect, do minor repairs, replace worn shims on my tow bar. Replacement of all plastic shims, cleaned torque ball I found, cost was $350 show special.
Good articles in monthly magazine. Once a year they include a list of vendors, manufactures, repair centers which has been helpful in the past.
I’ll continue membership.

BA, there is a great Prevost grease monkey in Tennessee named Jeff Rowe who gives a very good discount on Michelin Tires at a place called East Tennessee Luxury Coach and you do not need any costly club membership. I highly recommend him.

We are FMCA members and have to be to be in any Chapters… We are in the Cruisin Cajuns Chapter and enjoy that occasionally.
Our number is one of the lowest still being used its 29470… we have been members since 1977… guess that makes us older than dirt !!
Cheers, Diane

Well I’am in the dark on this one as I remember being asked for my FMCA number when I purchased the drive tires through PC / Dupree.
So whatever I need…. it’s good to be prepared. At this time tires new all around. Paying full retail for 365’s just makes me feel good everytime I think about that mess in California. All behind me now.

Diane, you beat me and I thought I had a low FMCA number of 77335. I like the magazine and some of the good ideas in the tech talk and the Travel tips area. I also use the Trip Routing Guide plus being the cheap *&%$# that I am, I enjoy the camp ground discounts.
I also got a discount on my coach insurance by sending a copy of my fmca card, which more than paid the $50 dues. -
My apologies BA. What I meant was you don’t have to go to FMCA for the Advantage Program, it’s a simple click on PC, but you do need an FMCA number.
