FMCA/Michelin Tire Program
I saw on another site where someone just bought tires with the program in FL and 315’s were 640.00 base price plus all the other add on’s. It appears the tires are really going up, they were running around 565.00 not too long ago.
The price of oil is going to have a big impact on more than just fuel!

I just saw some info on this yesterday. Seems that tire pricing is going up big time accross the board. Oil does play a factor in this as well as other items that are likely going up too.
Glad I got mine last summer!

I found out about the FMCA Advantage program with Michelin from the guys at Coach Worx in Clearwater, Fl. They knew it was a great deal for the customer. It saved me about $200 per tire on the 315’s. Ended up with an out the door price of right at $3060 mounted, new stems and balanced for four drive tires. The BEST benefit ever from FMCA.

That was a buy Les, seems some are paying different amounts probably due to the various type tires. I decided on XZA2’s, but could have spent less for other model numbers.

The tires fitted to Olivia were original from 2005. Even though, they had, by now, still less than 18,000 miles on them, I decided to get new tires, anyways, because the originals were getting up there in age and having sat for a couple of years, I was afraid I could face potential and serious problems, if I were to stick with the original tires.
Anyway, I took advantage of the FMCA program and had 7 new tires mounted earlier, today.
4x 365 and 3x 315 for a total cost of $5,2200, as debited to me by Michelin.
I needed 3×315 rather than 4 because 1 tire got replaced late last year, after I detected a deep cut on the sidewall.

Good to know Ronald, I know the question about the 365’s being in the program had been bounced around and you for sure answered that question.

Aboout a month ago I mangled a trailer tire and decided to see if the 245/75/17.5 XTA2 Energy was in the program.
Sure enough, it was!
Next I will need tires for the Excursion so I think I’ll give it a try. Couldn’t hurt! -

If that was your black bus at Coach Works a couple weeks ago, it looks great!
TCI in Orlando is a very bus friendly Michelin store. They have a huge inventory and move a lot of product. So, you can expect fresh tires. TCI in Tampa hates buses, I would not use them. TCI in Dothan, AL is also a good place. The truck tire store in Pensacola would not sell under the FMCA plan. Make sure you check to see if the store will sell under the national account.
FWIW, I just bought XA2/315s under the FMCA program for $586.18 + $52.83 FET + plus mounting, balance and disposal fees. BTW, this program may seem a bit strange. When I left the Dothan store I left with a receipt and card charge $900 greater than I actually paid. This was changed the next day by Michelin. This is done to protect the store owner and the store owner doesn’t know what the FMCA prices are. BTW, this procedure is a change from the way it worked last year.

Hi, Gil, yes, that is our bus!
I received my detailed invoice this morning. Here is the breakdown:
4x 365/70 R 22.5 XZA = $1582.71/each, less discount $993.35 = net $589.36 + FET $338
3x 315/80 R 22.5 XZA2 = $1492.62/each, less discount $906.44 = net $586.18 + FET $52.83
Plus balancing etc. and FL sales tax, for a total invoice amount of $5,179.65 for 7 tires.
