Actually, I have nothing against seniors because I am married to one and a lot of the folks who pay our dues are seniors. But when that is the core group the magazine and association tends to slant more toward that demographic.
While this group has some oldsters like Tom and Triple Fox look at the vast majority of the posts and threads and you rarely see comments, questions or posts that could be interpreted as being aimed at or from seniors. This group is active, always learning, looking ahead to future rallies and coaches and I do not get that sense from FMCA.

Have been a FMCA member over 15 years including forming a Country Coach KC Heartlanders chapter over 15 years ago. As far as I know Heartlanders still doing rallies in the KC area but now a part of a larger CC chapter.
As some attended FMCA events for a business enrichment, others have attended to meet friends, tour the many booths, enjoy entertainment, breakfast, dinner and snacks offered. These rallies are priced very reasonable…still a good value.
I have a hard time trying to understand the gray hairs and negative posting about FMCA magazine and rallies.
My wife attended a FMCA 2 day class in convection oven cooking. She was so excited as knowing how to ….and the first project was a pork roast for dinner, which was 100% success.
I attended a driving safety course and with that diploma received 10% credit on our RV insurance. Another was Blue OX doing an inspection and rebuild on your hitch for $350 at another rally.
Trashing FMCA for events that happened 20 years ago….really
Last …… “they are all between 65 and dead” was a little shocking when I first read it….found no humor in that comment.

How would you describe the average age of the folks in this discussion Al?

I find it very easy to figure when I’m becoming a senior, it is always 10yrs. older than my current age.

BA,
Great example of FMCA’s benefits.
Unfortunately, over the last two years Cindy & I have not taken advantage of any of their rallies due to other obligations.
But maybe before dropping our FMCA membership in 2019, we should attend an FMCA rally, for the benefits you mentioned. Just need to find the time …

Al, x2 on your comment. I am also happy with FMCA.
I’m not a member of FMCA for the magazine or advertisements. But rather for discounts and benefits of the membership that apply to me.
