Floor airslide valve leaking
I have a serious air leak in my airslide valve below the drivers seat in my 1991 XL40. The valve was replaced by the previous owner. It is in the pressure adjustment control which looks like some type of needle valve. Can anybody tell me if this part alone is available or must I replace the whole unit? Thanks to all.

Give us more detail. Converter? type of valve? etc.
Valves are mechanical things and anything mechanical can and will fail. That’s the bad news. The good news is if it is the kind of valve I am thinking of on your coach you can hear the leak, the valve has the manufacturer’s name on it, and a replacement valve typically makes the problem go away.

Are you sure that the air pressure control valve is the source of the leak or is it the A/B valve that controls the direction of the slide; ie: in/ out? If it’s the air pressure control valve I think you can get one at a place like Tractor Supply. They are not expensive. I got a couple (one for each of a couple of new seats I bought that called for no more than 50PSI. If it’s the A/B valve, (I forget what they called it) mine was no longer available from the manufacturer, but the parts dept. at Marathon helped me figure out one that worked out fine. A little replumbing was required, but it works great.
It felt great, ONE less place where air leaked.
