Could be the transformer in the box that supply’s the power to the bulb and color wheel Motor. Parts for the supervision 2000 are very difficult to find if even possible. If you can’t repair it I will be interested in purchasing it from you if your interested.

Open up the unit and take the heat shield off and test for power at the transformer, if your getting power there it should be that try to take it off and see if you can call a local electric store they might have a similar one that you can replace it with to get it going

What are the chances that those old capitors have dried up and quit? What do they do anyhow?

Your unit should look like this. Take the lower heat shield off and sent me a photo of you can.

i don’t have the heat shield’s that you have in yours. As you can see I have taken mine mostly apart trying to test the components. Capacitors test good. Really don’t know how to test the auto transformer/ballast. What’s my next move?
is there an LED option?
