  • Featherlite Aux air compressor

What is everyone using for an Aux compressor these days?

I have a Thomas model 688CE44-59 that Featherlite installed, which has finally stopped working. They mounted it in the Gen quiet box, which I’m sure aided to it’s failure because of being 170 degrees in there when the Gen is running.

I can find one, but not with the dash 59 in the model number.

Also, I’m thinking of moving it to another location, out of the heat of the Gen enclosure.

I know they put it in there so you can’t hear it run……..but, I had rather it work. And, I run my Gen a lot.

    thanks

I had what appears to be the same pump in our ’06 Millennium fail. I bought a new one from Zoro.com. The Zoro p/n is G2024032 ($393.99). I also bought the repair ki9t for it from Zoro.com p/n/ is G2385031 ($65.36). I repaired the old one and kept it as a spare. There is very little in that pump that moves or can fail. The repair kit should work. I’m not sure about the dash, but if there is a difference it is most likely on connectors, mufflers or something else you can remove from the old one and put on the new one. I’d try rebuilding it first.
