  • Fan Clutch removal

Posted by Craig on August 8, 2018 at 6:45 am

I started the process of removing the fan clutch. Since I will be cleaning the engine and bay as I go I removed the CAC pipe as well as the air intake pipe. I am still trying to figure out my wiring issue This being a DDEC II it uses 2 3amp circuit breakers Numbers 130 and 131 which have been removed as well as the wiring according te the prevost wiring diagram I am suppose to have wires 290 Fan Clutch Radiator 291 Fan Clutch Radiator speed 1 292 Fan Clutch Radiator speed 2. I have yet to find these 3 wires and They are not even listed on the wiring diagram on the rear door. Looks like this will be a interesting project. Just a note the cooling fan was locked down using the 2 tabs. You will notice the aluminum front flange is junk.
