Call Prevost parts with you VIN. They are very helpful.

You should have a pulley that has 3 grooves for belts to ride in and this has all 3 molded into 1 belt.

This one came with my bus as a spare. Miter box to fan. 10PK1297

Am I misunderstanding what belt you need? The belt (usually 3 of them or a 3-in-1 belt) that runs from the engine take-off to the radiator fan pulley is not a flat serpentine style belt on any series 60 I have seen.

I tried the single belt on a couple of my buses and took them off, the shaking and vibration at idle was too much for me.
-
I’ve seen posts on other Prevost social media posts that weren’t as kind about 3 in 1 belts that Tom was. One or more complained about the 3 in 1 coming off too often.

I have used the 3 in 1 belt on both my ’88 (over 300,000 miles) and on my current 98 without issue. I took off the 3 individual belts as soon as I bought this coach and like it very much. I do replace the belt every 12-18 months and keep the one I replaced as an emergency spare……every though 1 has never been necessary.
It also runs smooth as silk.

I have a 3 Wide belt driving my Radiator fan, and a 2 wide Belt driving my chassis alternator. No issues for me.

Belts for our 96 Liberty XL40 12v Classic w/60 series & OTR:
90 degree gearbox to fan clutch (serpentine)=Dayco# 5100510(10 rib, 51”)
For the 24v alternator (serpentine)= Dayco# 5120720(12 rib, 72”)
Crank to 90 degree gearbox(v-belt) = cogged banded #AX74/03 from the V Belt Guys
or
3 matched Dayco# AX74(0.53”w by 76”L)
Crank to OTR 05G ac compressor(v-belt) = cogged banded #BX97/02 from the V Belt Guys
or
2 matched Dayco# BX97(0.67”w by 100”L)
90 degree gearbox to 12V house alternator(v-belt)=1 Dayco# BX31(0.67”w by 34”L)
I prefer the cogged banded belts vs the matched sets where applicable.
Your results may vary.
