Exterior Entry or Porch light bulbs
Does anybody know a manufacturer or part number for the light bulb used on the exterior porch light located to the left of the entry door on our 2000 XL CC? No mention of this light in the Prevost exterior light bulb list. Are these a CC installation? Strange bulb with wire loop on each end.

There is an LED replacement bulb available for that application. Much brighter and cleaner light.

I’m in on the LED. Where do I source one? If I had a part number on the original maybe I could cross reference the LED.

Looks like I found this bulb style. They are called a rigid loop or Festoon. Most seem to be 44mm in length. Commonly used in interior dome lights on newer cars/trucks. There are some that are only 41mm and many options on Ebay for LED versions.

Chris, Its been a while now but my house light was the same type bulb that had burned out. I was able to get a replacement from Jeff at Liberty, but you may want to try NAPA as well. Double check the volts too, mine was 24 if I remember right.

Thanks for the heads up on the voltage. I will have to test it. Most of the exterior lights on the Prevost show 12v on my exterior bulb list with the exception of a couple 24’s. I assume these house lights are converter installed so I guess it would depend on which voltage source CC tapped for it.

Rigid loop festoon is the proper name for the bulb and on my 1999 CC they are 12 volts. You can replace them with LED bulbs from Superbrightleds.com They are also used in the, what I think are called patio lights, that are mounted on my bay doors at the bottom to uses for lighting when enjoying the outside around your coach. The LED’s don’t put out as much light but put out almost no heat at all and use very little current to work.
The Superbrightled part number is #561, 9 LEDs.
