Many brands of extended life, Cat EC -1 coolants. Is one brand really better than the others or does it really matter?

please read and understand the following Detroit document.
    On page 3 it states:
    For Extended Life Coolants (ELC)

All ELCs used must also meet Detroit 93K217 specification. Detroit™ requires that these types of coolants to be free of nitrite and phosphate. Detroit™ has found that ELCs containing nitrite may lead to a breakdown of the coolant and
subsequent damage to the cooling system.
It also states on page 3:
    For Standard Life Coolants (SLC)
Standard Life Coolant (SLC) contains inhibitor salts, including nitrites, to prevent liner cavitation.
