Entry door glass removal
Can anyone tell me how to remove the entry door glass? Both the stationary and the sliding window are fogged up and full of moisture. I need to remove both. Can they be removed, cleaned and resealed?

Hey Rich,
You did not mention what coach you have if H, XL, XL2, etc. But to answer you question yes you can. I have an XL chassis, 93 Marathon and I have removed and cleaned both driver and entry door windows. Also there are many threads here to assist, just search Foggy windows. But fairly straight forward, the windows can be taken completely out via screws on the inside around the window frame (on an XL chassis not sure about an H or XL3) or you can get a silicone cutting tool and remove them from the frame. Also you can search youtube for some videos on the process. Their are kits available with rope silicone in various thicknesses for sealing the two windows back together. The glass us easily removed with an osclating multitool (see youtube for tips on window removal with one of these). We previously used a utility knife and it took ages.
The black silaflex sealant cut in seconds and the glass came out.
Swapped the dual pane – sealing it in with new sikaflex.
Cleaned up the sika bead and any mess – job done.
We installed new panes of temperrd glass.

I did mine last year except I went 1 step further. I pulled all the frames out, sandblasted and powdercoated and replaced all the felt and seals.
