Just reading this post and as always helpful to somebody. Took my 91 8V92TA in for service last fall (Houston Prevost) .They changed All fluids and coming home the thing started running hot over 55 mph. Couldn’t figure it out cause the puppy had never run hot even in the last brutal summers here with temps around 105 plus. Called back to Prevost “bring it back” Only 125 miles to shop. Called the fella that works on it and he came down to check it out. Somebody had closed air valve that adds tension to belts on motor. Hit valve and no more hot. Somebody had closed it. Belts would still turn at low rpm but get in a going and slip. They didn’t change belts so i guess the gremlins are at it again. I was thinking the worst. Have run it a few thousand miles and they haven’t closed it since. Of course I have a monster Tom Cat out there in barn that would kill a bear , much less a little gremlin.

After reading this post, I thought I would make a comment about my coach, I guess it is normal for the temps variate some mine goes from about 185 and gradually climbs to 200 then back to 185 cycles about every 10 minutes. This occurs on cool days hot days and hill climbing no change in temps I guess this is normal? Gary

That’s a greater swing in temps than I have been used to but none of the temperature extremes are out of line so keep on truckin Gary.
