Block of wood is temp. I did not like rear cross member so I re did . New one is ready to go in. Spacer is there to take up space of neoprene rear motor mount. The original one was 1 1/2 inch to low for my taste. I know I’m slow! Just having fun…. Been working on slide-outs in spare time while waiting on parts. All that is pretty well finished. Just about time for new skin. Bob

My bus keeps me busy just fixing little things and making changes to suit our needs. I am in awe of the work Bob is doing to create his conversion.
Good job.

What Jon said. Robert, although some on this site can tear down and rebuild their transmission, many of us are more of the armchair mechanic type. I consider that I am “working on the bus” when I change lightbulbs or put in new batteries. What you are doing is simply amazing. Thanks for continuing to post these fascinating updates. Keep ’em coming.

Nice to see the progress, Bob. I am anxious to see it all finished.
My Pastor friend there at Eaton’s Auto Repair in Mt. Vernon told me you stopped in and got acquainted. You found a good guy there.
