Electronic Window issue

I am hoping this is the place to get some support. We just purchased a (used) Marathon and I noticed one of the windows was not closed all the way. The window has an electronic switch to open and close them. On a working window, from a closed position, when you initially open the window, the manual emergency exit locks disengage, and the window slowly opens. Then when closing it does the opposite.
One of our windows will disengage the lock but it will not open all the way. It just hangs down flopping around. To close the window, I need to have one person outside holding the window close to the cab, and then another person inside engaging the electronic lock. After investigating the window, there is a piston-like support on one side, and a metal support with a wheel on the other side. There is a motor inside the bottom rail of the window which seems to unlock the window, as well as slightly move the wheel sided support to close the window.
Any idea of what has to be replaced here?
Lastly, should the windows soft close, or close completely with the button? Or should once you engage the close button is slams shut?

I recently had 3 window motors replaced after having very similar issues, they should not slam. Replaced at Prevost Mira Loma, for $769 per window plus labor. Prevost motor assembly with support – #790619
I was also having switch issues on most of the windows, primarily the switches that got used the most on each window. The switches come as a pair for the window and are generally replaced together. I ordered switches from Prevost to replace myself at $385 each. Prevost Rocker switch assy with harness-XLII -#066182. The replacement switches are not an exact plug and play replacement as the ends that connect to the existing wiring do not match. I ended up searching for replacement connectors online that I could add to the switch assembly. McMaster-Carr.com Molex compact push-in signal/power connector set with 6″ wire leads, 3 poles #9552T71 $9.80/each. That was a steep learning curve as I initially tried to reuse the old plug from the switch and solder to the new switch. I found the wiring on mine to be short and VERY difficult to solder properly.
