ELECTRICAL CORD BREAKER

Don’t know where fuse/breaker is, but if your is like my 2000 xlii if you can get a hold of end of cord an pull it will come out slowly if you pull on it manually. At least get through this day/night. Does not push back in well though – pushing on a rope . . .
Also if you have a Marinco adaptor or cord with a MArinco end, you can use an extension cord to connect to one of the ports in front of the drive axle. Have to change the selector switch in the left first bay.

Thanks, I was afraid I couldn’t get it back in if I let it out. Remembered I had an extension cord so I only had to pull it out a couple feet. Still want to know about power source. BTW, the coach is an elegant lady.

I have a Marathon so my setup is likely different. On our bus, you can check power source just behind the in/out rocker switches. At first sight, the wiring looks confusing but on our bus it is set up just like a power window with two relays and two limit switches. The limit switches being in series with the relay coil supplies.
The cable won’t move if one of the limit switches has been triggered. Since you were able to pull it out manually a few feet, does it now retract or extend?

To Joelselman, On our old Liberty “Classic” the shore cord real has two 12v 15 amp blade type fuses that protect it, fuse #s 39 and 39A. On our bus there are about 60 12v fuses behind a clear plexi-glass panel in the 2nd driver side electical bay with the inverters, cut-off switches, gen battery, etc. But your “Elegant” may be completely different? I don’t know.
I have a Liberty owners manual that list what ea of the 60 fuses is for. If you have one it may have this info too. Look in the back of it.
*Note* I changed all these fuses to “GLOW WHEN THEY BLOW” type fuses so that they will be easy to spot if we ever have a problem.
