Does my 2004 chassis with a DD series 60 14L have EGR system?

It might.

If it has EGR there will be a tube with an orange color flexible connection shown in the photo below running across the top of the engine.

FWIW, mine is same age but 12.7L, and does not have EGR

Well Mr Knoxville…I have spotted a problem in your engine compartment.

We have a sharp eye for things like this in Missouri. You might not make it past Knoxville city limits.

Big Al, We will keep this between us so nobody thinks you are jumping to conclusions.

The valves are turned off because I am not using an SCA filter because I have extended life EC-1 coolant. They are safety wired so they cannot be opened. When I changed coolant Detroit did not have blanks in stock.
