I have seen mine get up to ~1200 watts each. Still a lot better than 1800 I saw on the Dometics.

New here.

Saw the post and link on Prevost XL on Face book. Do these only cool or are they heat pump systems as well?

They have heat pumps. I think they are 12000 btu. I really like these so far. We have only had to run three of the units and it was 99 degrees out side and the coach was very cool.

What about the head room if doing this in a legacy XL replacing Dometic units?

If my memory serves me right, they are less than 2 inches taller than the low profile units. Mine measure from the ground the the top of the units 13′ 3.5″. I do know you cannot be over 13’6″. The thing that I like about these as well they have 2 fan motors. One for the condenser and one for the evaporator and they are really quite. You can go on Premiere’s website and see all of the details. Also there are a few U Tube videos on these as well.
